god damn man, i just rewatched the ****en fight and it was helllla close, i gave juan 5 of the first six and there was some other close ones later on in the fight....nate closed 10,11, and 12 pretty good...but why do people seem to forget the beginning of the ****en fights nowadays..... not to mention nate fought a ****en dirty ass ****en fight man...i respect him for coming out guns blazing and fighting a inside fight, but god damn, those of you who back up this piece of **** performance must really hate juan diaz...... it was an old dirty veteran vs a young lion that only truly believes in winning fair....juan didnt make one excuse after the fight which i love and respect him for, i just hope to god there is a ****en re-match before we see nate fight the winner of casa and katsidis..... i ****en hate when dirty ass fighters like nate, bhop and casamayor get credit for winning some close fights, that **** aint boxing, it's desperate bull**** coming from these guys..... i didn't post last night cause i watched the fight kind of drunk and i was even thinking THANK GOD THE JUDGES IN MEXICO DIDNT ROB NATE (SINCE THE HBO CREW WAS ACTING LIKE THEY WERE IN THE MOST CROOKEDEST PLACE ON EARTH)..i was like cool, all this **** talking about "unexperienced judges" sure shut their ****en mouths.....even experienced judges from the u.s.a are ****, so what's the difference.... but anyways, i read most posts and most of you make it seem like nate ****en dominated the fight....alot of his outlanding juan came way later on in the fight, but the first half he was getting handled pretty good, juan even dazed him a couple of times.....it wasn't till that dirty ass ******* cut him that the fight started shifting a bit...... **** NATE !!!
This week would not be complete without Freddy's drunken post fight consipiracy theory as to why a Mexican fighter lost.
Don't be a sour puss Freddy. As much as I like Diaz he lost fair and square. Yes there was one intentional headbut on Nate's behalf in the begining but after that the headbutts were as a result of close fighting and both fighters coming in with their heads down.
bull**** man...that's exactly what i thought yesterday but today, i watched it and there was alot of them....in the seventh round, there is a ****en clean head shot that nate comes in with...it's right after juan throws up his hands and says "come on"..... dont get me wrong man, i love a good fight...but i can't stand dirty fighters like that....especially when they give the champ no ****en credit at all.....
Yes there were but none besides the 1st rd were intentional. Why do you care about some morrons posting **** about Juan? The true fans know that even with a closed eye and a nasty cut he gave a hell of a performance and it was a close fight where the better man that night won.
dog, rewatch the fight man...i'm watching it right now again and nate fought a ****en dirty ass fight....juan just aint one to complain, but that's what his true fans are here for
And that means Diaz WON'T GET any better to you? That is ultimately what you are saying. Because of his RANK, he's already in his prime.
After watching the fight did Daiz lose, and yes Nate did fight dirty but he sure outsmarted Daiz, watch in the beginning ofit the fight how Nate was roughing, pissing, talking **** to Daiz, it sure work. And then in the end Daiz was done, too damn stessed out, tired, aint thinking straight, i think Nate outsmarted Diaz real well.:deal
Close fight? Diaz clearly lost and I was rooting for him. And the inside close fighting was the result of headbutts between the two. Diaz left his head exposed. And the cut on his eyelid was the result of a punch anyway. Nates bodywork early and getting that cut (via a clean punch) really helped. Also freddy, there was only one mexican judge and he was working the peter fight, the rest were judges from America, the HBO was down talking their experience, not because they were in Mexico. Although that ref in the Diaz fight was bias as **** towards him, letting his corner work on him, which is a BIG NO NO, and then letting Diaz corner stay in 5-10 seconds after the bell rang to start the round. Clear win for Nate but I was cheering Diaz as I said before. He just got outworked.
Nate won that fight fair and square he beat Diaz at his own game by outworking him. His work to the body paid off in the long run. Campbell is a savvy vet and when he saw blood he was like a shark. I'm a big Diaz fan and he'll be back but he lost to a better man last night. Give Nate his due, he has the sort of toughness the type of nastiness in order to beat someone like Diaz.:deal
