you guys crack me up Juan Diaz won like 3 rounds at best in that fight....Nate was making him miss all night long and making him pay. Look at the final punch stats its a landslide !
damn y cant people just except it when a fighter gets his ass kicked! campbell beat him at his own game period. and when u fight that kind of fight there is bound to be headbutts.
Diaz did get headbutted early, small cut, not big at all. The 2nd cut was 100% legit and clean. AND Diaz was staying on his stool longer then Nate was every round. The proof is there freddy watch the the beginning of every round 5-10 seconds go by before Diaz gets off his stool.
Just give Campbell his credit ... he fought a good fight and won. The first 1/2 of the fight was controled by Campbell - he punched to the body effective and if you look at the fight again ... you'll see that Diaz was worried about that right hook to the body. He favored that side and caught alot of shots over the top when Campbell fainted the right to the body. The big cut was caused by a punch ... the replay proved that ... Diaz couldn't get him mind off the cut and why would he it was a big gash. His eye started to close and he couldn't see anything coming. I thought in the 10th Nate was on the verge of knocking Juan out. Juan backed up which was not in his nature and showed that he was fatigue from the body punches. The buts will happen when you fight on the inside -- it was unintentional Man this is bad ... but when you put so much into a fighter or a fight, and it doesn't go the way you wanted it to go ... you'll have some excuses why the fight didn't go the way you wanted.
Neither. Campbell was a mandatory, so there was no rematch clause for Diaz. He doesn't need to petition to fight the Casa/Katsidis winner since neither of them holds an ABC belt, and since Katsidis is already a mandatory, the winner of that fight will be Campbell's mandatory. I can't imagine he wouldn't take that fight. Looks like the best cash-out opportunity available to me, and considering how raw Katsidis is and how old Casa has looked lately, I'd think Campbell would be the favorite. I had it 10-2 Campbell, FWIW, and was rooting for Diaz. I thought Campbell was winning straight through the fight. The whole way through he landed the cleaner punches and the harder punches, and he even had a workrate advantage early, and showed a lot of ring generalship by not getting pushed back. There were a lot of close rounds, but even if you scored all of them for Diaz, Campbell still won. Fighting dirty is part of the game, especially if you don't get caught. Campbell got a deduction for a punch, which more than makes up for the headbutts and shoulders where he didn't get deducted.
I think Diaz lost pretty convincingly but I do think Campbell fought a pretty dirty fight. I can handle some dirty tricks, but Nate took it a little overboard.
that's what i'm saying homie.... i'm not even saying diaz won, i was just stating that it was closer then what people are saying, and that nate fought a ****en dirty ass ****en fight...... i doubt there is any hardcore nate cambell fans, so the ones saying he whooped juan must be noobs or juan haters...
