Yeah can keep fighting at Aussie level, & maybe win the Australian Heavyweight Title again.
Still from all reports i heard it was an awesome match with Leapai on friday night.
Wouldnt mind if Briggs got it on with Hopoate.
    I reckon Briggs by KO.

I believe Nathan has the power & passion to deliver another awesome fight somewhere down the track...Hopoate would be great. I wish Nathan all the best for the New Year and hope to see him fighting fit in 2008.

I think a fairly good measure would be tutaki..
Nathan boxed him well and was methodical in stopping him, hopoate referred to his usual bull at a gate style and was running at 15% by the second round when he threw a hail mary body shot and tutaki thought "oh well i been paid and got my free plane trip to sydney ay brew, guess i better hit the showers and watch the main event" stopping the fight.

Nathan to outbox hoppa for 3 rounds untill he is as weak as a kitten then drop sledgehammer rights on johns massive jaw.

I dont think he should go anywhere, yeh he has a dodgy chin but what would we have in aussie heavyweights if he retired, a 41 year old who will be retired in a few months, a 36 (i think) year old champion who couldnt be stuffed training and a former nrl player who hasnt fought anyone of note yet(solo)

IMO nathan has the best boxing skills of any aussie heavy apart from kali and he is one of the fittest. so if he has no health or psychological concerns he should stick with the game.

Perfectly said Bush Boy! Nathan's not a sloppy heavyweight or unfit, he doesn't get tired and hang off his opponent for half of the fight either.

Briggsy was winning every second of that fight, apart from the knockdowns and round 3... as strange as that sounds. It was a great fight. I still think the Nasty Boy has a lot left in him.

I remmeber seeing him fight Betezy Bob at Jupiters on teh goldy an age ago. he did ok, but got crumpled late rounds from memory. that was when he was the Aussie H'Weight Champ. The state of Aussie Heavyweight scene at the time was then dislplayed by Bob calling out Aussie Joe at Ringside!...

I haen;t seen him fight for ages, but he seemed to have some ok skills for a big fella and that was 8 over 5 years ago.

I have finished Paul Briggs book, thanks MSTR for mentioning it to me it was a good read. It made Nathans fight against Alex alot more interesting for me knowing a bit of his back ground through his brothers book.
As for addictions in life, you just swap one addiction for another. He went from an addiction of kickboxing to raving & drugs (the two go side by side, no raving if theres no drugs involved) to a spiritual experience with Windhawk to Tash to Christianity. My sister is a bron again Christian and she has an addiction to coffee, my son has an addiction to bugs.
Page 390: "Life's not about the goals you set. It's about the gold you can mine from your journey towards those goals. What can you pull out of it to make yourself freer, more whole, more real? These will enable you to live a more free, more full and more genuine life" - I wonder if the man/predator that he forgave is still alive, if so maybe Paul should confront him and look at him directly in the eyes to give the predator a reality check that this little boy whom innocence he took now stands in front of him 'a man a whole man and a healed man'.
Anyway I'm off to hire the Notebook today and maybe have a look for another book to read.
