Some Welsh boxing writer online saying Cleverly aint getting the credit he deserves cos he is Welsh. Wondered how long it would take them to pull that card.

Kuziemski, Karpency, Krasniqi (albeit fell through) and now this, I'm just glad I'm not a fan, if it was a fighter I actually liked I'd be gutted. Who pays to watch this ****, better be a stacked undercard

I honestly believe frank isn't very confident in cleverlys abilities and is milking him while he can. If there is another fight, no matter what it is, I'd chose to watch it over another gift for cleverly. I keep saying ah let him have this one and he'll step up properly the next time out but it just doesn't happen. People keep talking about bellew as if that was a step up but at the time of the fight most people picked cleverly to win easy and didn't see him as much of a risk. To talk about froch and hopkins in the same sentence is ****ing laughable. They are clearly waiting another year for hopkins hoping that he really does fade into nothing. Also with the froch contract, ****** knows its not a fight froch can accept because on the off chance that cleverly won he wouldn't fight at 168 against bute.

Did Nathan Cleverly Cherry pick Tony Bellew..?

I think Bellew & Cleverly are both good European Level Fighters.

I don't think ether of them are elite world class.

They could get afew title shots, but they would maybe encounter big trouble at that level.

Even though the 175 division is a ****ing ghost town now..."I don't have a clue who fights in the division anymore"...

Tony Bellew is the more marketable fighter, and will probably have a more exciting career and more opportunities of big fights because of this.

I have to say that I would personally be very interested in a Cleverly Bellew rematch.

I know its not necessarily world title quality, but going on the first fight and what I've seen of each fighter since I would really favour Bellew's chances.

If Bellew, as it certainly appears, is fighting under the Matchroom banner I think there is more chance of him being matched with more exciting competition as a champion.

At least this way we've got more chance of getting some exciting fights, and the opportunity to find out if we have a genuine world class operator.:bbb

If F**** did make an offer to Froch it was in the knowledge that Froch ( who is not Light Heavyweight, and make MW EASILY ) has no interest in moving up right now or even ever.

Personally, Clev is clearly at world level in LHW division. I see 'world level' as a standard that changes according to quality of fighters in the division at that time. LHW is pretty dire at the minute but Clev is 'world level' by it's standards.

No one at LHW is 'elite world class', except maybe Chad Dawson (we'll find out on Sat night I suppose)
