Clev should be ashamed of himself.

This shouldn't be for the title, in no way is Hawk a worthy World title opponent. Saying that, neither were Coyne, Karpency, Krasniqi, Kumiezki or even that version of Bellew, although he did go on to prove he is at least on the same level as Cleverly if not better. So yeah, a pretty standard Cleverly defence.

to be honest every boxer has to have a easy defense of his title now and again, they all deserve a easy payday, after all its a hard game.

but with burns fighting a raw novice brit level fighter in a defence and clev fighting a man who looks on paper to be about the same level as walsh it seems a bit cheap, like ****** aint making any money so bring the cheapest boxers they can get,im pissed off i just bought boxnation and im getting these fights.
i don't mind clev,i don't get the hate for him and the same with burns, but these are **** fights for world title fights

Im not one for coming out criticising fighters and promoters but this getting ****ing ridiculous first the burns fight and now this horrific fight. No wonder boxing is ****ed i feel for the fighters cause i dont think its their fault.

Burns and nathan must be really pissed all you hear from them is UNIFICATION which i believe the two want. And then the promoter turns out this shite!

  5. If all goes too plan they , burns & clev , get unifications on same card early next yr !!!!

This might be Fwank's doing, but Clev seems to be taking it a bit too well. Despite the fact that he's been having domestic level fights as a so called "world champ" Clev seems to be doing very little in the way of complaining.

Clev isn't thick, so he must just be happy to take the money.

I wonder if Clev really thinks that he is world champ?

The WBF would probably think twice before sanctioning this. I hope he Banjo's Nathan.

In no way shape or form should this be for the title.

Absolute disgrace of a 'title run'.

****** will have to offer mega bucks in the next fight or Clev is going to be the laughing stock of boxing!!!

These can be dangerous fights, change of opponent and style, Hawk should go for it, it's his best opportunity of glory and a better life.
Nothing new here for Nathan, he's not going to get any props for beating this guy.

I love the way Boxnation are delivering a genuine world title fight this weekend. I was thinking about cancelling my subscription, but this mouth watering prospect has rejuvenated my enthusiasm.

Who else is on the bill? (not that this could be topped...)

My initial reaction is disgust. Upon calming down my reaction is embarassment for the sport of boxing.

When fights like this are made, I have no problem with someone attempting a monopoly similar to FIFA, UFC etc It won't be perfect but anything has to be better than this.
