the guy has no power at LHW, what the **** does he think he'll accomplish as a heavy??

plus, that chin... no, he should stay at LHW

His dad is just talking ****. Cleverly would be the most feather fisted HW in the history of HW boxing.

Cleverly didn't beat nobody solid from LHW , I mean nobody ! Actually I think a guy like Adrian Diaconu would've beat soundly Cleverly ! Now, Diaconu is retired. At cruiserweight or at heavyweight Cleverly would be a feather fisted fragile toy for the top 10 fighters !

He should stay at LHW and fight with the best . :yep

The good news is the rest of the article I read about it (from the scene), said he was most likely going to be fighting Shumenov in the fall. Or MAYBE Hopkins. He said Hopkins was trying to get to Shumenov too.

I would actually pikc Shumenov against Cleverly, but it's a very good, pretty close, evenly matched fight against two constrasting styles.

I would still probably favor Hopkins against both.

These are good fights for the division. It seems the HW gimmick was just a way to draw more people in.

Yeah he could be a good Heavyweight. Sorta like how Adamak.

I'd like to see Cleverly fight for the British Commonwealth title at Heavyweight

No chin and no power. If he fights any live opponent, he will get crushed.

Well, before HW he wants to go to CW, there he will have to deal with YP Hernandez and Lebedev, those tests will show if he can have any sucess at HW.

Clev. should stay away from BHop, it`ll be an ugly, dirty, tied up fight, Bhop style`s and he will end up in the losing end of it.

Now, Shumenov on the other hand is a tremendous matchup, I hope it happens.

Maybe after Shumenov the winner of Cloud/Pascal is next.

Cleverly's a joke, the guy hasn't even beaten a worthy worldclass LHW and he has no power and a questionable chin at 175, at HW he'd be the most featherfisted dude ever and his chin would make Fraudley's look like iron. I don't even rate him as top 10 LHW, he's holding a paper belt hostage defending against no hopers. Even Bundrage is a better champion.

He hasn't even faced a worthy LHW challenger yet, and his punching power at that weight is virtually non existent.
At heavyweight he probably would be ragdolled by anyone inside the top100 with serious power. They just run straigth through him.
