Oh nothing against Tony at all he seems sound.

But if Nath gets booed by the **** heads at the O2 because bellew is english and hes welsh i wont be surprised, i will be embarrased though.

Cleverly got a good reception from the England fans in a very patriotic atmosphere at the England-Wales football match. We'll see if that changes with an English opponent.

I disagree, in 12-18 months time i think clev will start fighting the best..he will pressure Warren into getting the big fights were as i think Calzaghe was happy fighting bums.

Bellew will get the better reception, he's the last minute underdog who's stepped in to "save the card". Most neutrals will probably be cheering for him to at least put up a good show.

Its a joke title in any case. Pascal-Hopkins is for the more valid belt.

Its not Clevs fault to be fair. He was ready and waiting to fight the German Chicken.

That's what makes this belt a joke. Assuming Cleverly is still "Champ" after this weekend, whet happens next? Years of PPV exhibition bouts under the guise of a "reign"?

He finally got his shot at a world title and his opponent pulled out in spurious circumstances. What do you suggest should happen?

I heard Warren claiming he was going to the Hopkins-Pascal fight to try and secure the winner, am sure that was on Buncys show.

I don't understand the hate Nathan is getting would you rather that fruit loop Brahmer continue holding the belt hostage.

The title gets vacated and if Clev is the number 1 contender then he fights the number 2 contender for the vacant title. Tony Bellew is ranked 14th by the WBO. I wasn't aware that Karo Murat was the 2nd best either when Clev picked up the apparent interim title.

I don't even know why I'm arguing this, the belts are pointless. Just think it's funny how Clev is going to be announced and paraded around the o2 as world champion effectively without even doing anything.

Pascal/Hopkins II is the Light Heavyweight World Championship.

The title should remain vacant, and Cleverly v Bellew should be just a domestic fight, which is what it is.

The WBO belt is only being used as justification for the bill to remain PPV.

I don't see any hate for Nathan, in fact I'm sure everybody here has enough respect for him to prefer he wasn't patronised by the WBO.
