    He'd definitely give Stevenson a harder time than that worthless slug Bellew. Don't be too disappointed when Kovalev hits you in the head you lose control of all your faculties, I love Calzaghe but its pretty clear Kovalev is many levels above Lacy, so in all likelihood it would be Joe getting Clev'd™.

    Yeah I agree with all that I just wish he moved back out of range some of the time letting his shots go instead of standing there like a statue soaking up needless damage when Fonfara was unloading with his barrages. That's why he got busted up so badly and those injuries and damage he sustained pretty much cost him the fight.

    I love the performances against Campillo and Lionell Thompson, too. I had a strong feeling Kovalev was going to make a statement against Campillo and that chopping right hand he dropped Thompson with towards the end of the 2nd round was beautiful. It sounded like someone sitting ringside had just fired a gun.

    Negative. Had they fought prime for prime, you'd have the same amount of egg on your face as you did after The Furious One™ recently schooled Vlad. Then rather than give 'Zaggers credit for ruining Kovalev like he did Lacy, you'd be critical of the tatics Zaggers used to shut out Sergey.

    Nathan is currently being rumored as a potential opponent for Ward on July 30th, while I don't think Clev adequately prepares Ward for Kovalev I've always seen Nathan as a tricky style for Andre, this could be a fascinating fight.:think

    Clev will take on anyone, props to him. Always in entertaining fights.

    Oddly enough I think his gameplan for Fonfara was all wrong, he should have boxed a lot more and he would have gotten at least a draw.

    With Ward he should do the opposite and brawl, what he pretty much did with Fonfara :lol::-(
