Definitely scores well for smugness, but essentially a decent chap. You've got to have a bit of cockiness in this sport, and why not...he's achieved a lot for a guy just out of Uni.

 

He looks like a prime Nick Cotton, and he was a dodgy geezer.

 

I like him, also a extremely smart chap completing a math degree along with his boxing.

 

I must be the only one but I like the sort of music he comes out to.

 

Loved his entrance in Birmingham last year, he stole the entire show for me that night and I became a fan!

I don't like the fact he has wasted his clearly superior intelligence on Boxing instead of using it to get ahead in life because he has a Maths Degree you know..

Those are some harsh criticisms, none of those are as bad as Bellew's last 'performance'.

 

I like him, wants to be a crowd pleaser a bit too much though.

as for the disrespect for Braehmer and Bellew that is pure frustration.

when the Braehmer fight was announced he very diplomatic in his answers and showed respect for Braehmer then he pulls out without even having the courtesy to phone his team, as a result that fed into the Bellew situation then again he was perhaps slightly pissed that Bellew kept calling him out when in fact Bellew, at that time, wasn't (perhaps still isn't) at his level.

Remember he became Commonwealth, British and European champion in essence as a part time boxer whilst studying that alone gains respect from me.

Christ when I came home from work I had to study to get gain my degree and sometimes I was falling asleep with the books and papers all around me, so imagine what it must be like after a gruelling session in the gym.

 

He seems alright and makes for good scraps. We can't blame him for the Maths Degree quips.
I'm beyond hating his ring entrances now. I put them in the "so bad, they are good" category like "Plan 9 from Outer Space" and "Godzilla v The Smog Monster".
