Do you think Nathan Cleverly will be one of the future stars of LHW division?

Cleverley is following the Enzo Calzaghe formula of fighting a division above where he should be, which never seems a particularly good idea to me. He could make SMW relatively comfortably. His lack of power is going to be a real handicap at higher levels.

He only holds the meaningless Commonwealth LHW title - defending against a middleweight Afrobum and stopping him is hardly and indicator.

He needs to step up to British title level, and down to super middle......

Only then will you know. He has improved though since leaving Enzo Calzaghe.

he is feather fisted and JC thinks he could be the next star of the SMW devision.

he is spending more time boxing now he has finished his degree in pure mathematics so you should see him come on a bit faster than the last 2 years

he is a good fighter but has poor ko percentage.
i think a little more than two years is needed.
he isnt called cleverly for nothing he is now a member of mensa.

what a stupid statement. you have never heard of him but are making statements like that. he is a young fighter with 14 figths and them fights have been up against people he will learn things off not just fighters who will stand there and be KO'd in round 2.

he does not have a high KO rate and should not be fighting up at 175 he should be back down at 168.

he is a enzo cal style fighter. high workrate great stamina and no power.

what he can do is up t him i think he has the tools and the brain to get there but it is all about how much he wants to get there
