    Round 10

Groves lands some stiff long jabs to the face. DeGale charges and they clinch against the ropes. Break. DeGale stabs through with his right jab but doesn't quite reach Groves' face. Groves lifts his lead leg and springs off his back to land a stiff jab to the body. Groves is really focusing on body punching now, moving laterally and swinging low. High jab by Groves now, gets DeGale to duck over and Groves spanks him with a right while bent. Groves is landing the right hand well. BIG COMBO by Groves! DeGale is getting completely muted. Every time DeGale goes to throw Groves starts hitting him and doesn't stop. DeGale goes to tie up but is quickly split by the ref. They both slap with wide punches and DeGale looks to clinch. DeGale tries to work his hands on the inside. Groves hugs him until they are broken up.

    10-9 Groves

    96-94 DeGale

10th was actually a pretty good comeback round for Groves. Intriguing fight, with a lot of tension, if not a whole lot of sustained exceitement.

    96-94 Degale on my card/

This fight is more irritating than intriguing.

    Round 11

Groves is a bloody mess. They scrap in close, ugly. DeGale is slapping with both hands, catching Groves behind the head. Groves is trying for an odd uppercut but getting a bit swamped up on the inside. Groves gets outside and crouches, then lunges up with a 1-2. Groves is bleeding profusely. DeGale slips some jabs on his way in and digs to the body. Groves ties up. DeGale lands a thudding left to the body.

    10-9 DeGale

    106-103 DeGale
