    Groves circles out wide, keeping well clear. DeGale lands a slapping left to the forehead, sloppy. Groves keeps circling out in either direction, drawing DeGale on and keeping just off the ropes. Groves now cuts his way forward a bit, zigging and zagging on to back DeGale into the ropes. Hard right uppercut by Groves. DeGale flurries. Quantity from DeGale, quality from Groves. DeGale throws a high left hand and his elbow thuds against Groves' face. Stiff double jab between the eyes by Groves. DeGale flurries and hits glove. Groves ties up to get off the ropes. Hard body shots by Groves. DeGale throws both arms furiously and winds up just getting Groves tangled between them and shaking him. Groves pouring blood. Groves lands a left hook, then a pair of body shots, and finally a right hand to the face before the bell.

    10-9 Groves round but it's extremely close, could go either way, but on my scorecard it ultimately didn't matter. 116-112 Groves, I could see a draw or a DeGale one point win, very close fight but I think Groves won it because he landed cleaner, through more, showed better defense.

    Round 12 for DeGale. 116-112 DeGale on my scorecard. A lotta disagreements going to be over here. Lotta swing rounds.

    Judges might have it a draw. Rematch!

    DeGale takes the fight 8-4 on my scorecard. Tell you what, I wouldn't be surprised if Groves takes it but I don't think he deserves it. At the end of the day DeGale landed the more effective punches and put on the more hurt. I think it's close but clear, wonder if the judges think the same.

    DeGale took round 12, I have him winning the fight by 3 rounds... but the rounds were close so I won't be surprised to see a split decision or a draw. DeGale should take it though.
