Would you be interested in training Clev then if he decides to get a new trainer?

Brahmer is a cautious fighter. Reminds me of Chagaev with more power. Maybe not as cagey as Chagaev or as defensively sound but he's along those lines. He will be dangerous, but the fight is there for Clev to win if he fights solidly and does not make huge errors. This guy isn't in danger of overwhelming Cleverly or anything, he ain't going to outbox Clev IMO. Maybe I'm wrong, but I can't see that.

I really think clevs lack of power is going to catch up with him sooner or later. I think he may well struggle to hold Braehmer off. I think he needs to try and out work him.

Of course m8 he's a good fighter! It seems to be working with Vince though so I don't think he will want a change.

I must admit, I'm not too clued up on Braehmer. People are saying he is a big puncher and maybe Cleverly won't be able to handle it. But is he a bigger puncher than Murat? I know he was primarily a SMW, but he had a reputation that he could bang a bit, and Nathan handled him and his power pretty well. Everytime he got tagged he recovered pretty well, and he used his boxing skills pretty well that night.

I've seen a couple of JB fights on youtube, the guy looks like a genuine puncher but his opponents were smaller and slower, I think although Clev has better potential to reach a higher level than JB, they're pretty similar right now. Clev seems to have a good chin - he's gonna need it, Brahmers low hands invite a war and Clev seems easy to goad into standing and trading.

I'm going for a Clev stoppage win, prob a knockdown for each by the end. Can't wait, hope it comes off, along with Degale Groves it's a good night for watching boxing with a few bevvies ;)

Have there been rumours about this fight to resurrect this discussion? If so,Braemer would have to move up in weight as I really can't see Cleverly making light heavy again. If this were to happen,I wouldn't like to pick a winner. Braemer is a tough guy. Easy meat for nobody.

I think if Clev drops back down to LHW - which he should - this should be the fight he should chase. Braehmer is a good enough fighter, but I don't rate him that highly and I think Clev could beat him.

If he does drop back down to LHW, it will be interesting to see what effect having to cut the muscle mass he's put on will have.

Braehmer ducked him the first time. He's ****. Cleverly would have battered him at the time. Even now he'd beat him.
