Buckland is walking Smith down with the jab, turning his chin off Smith's counter jab. Clinch. Smith wrenches out his right hand and buries it in Buckland's chest. Left hook by Smith from outside. Chopping rights walking in from Buckland. Smith is curling in the right hand from outside after weathering a body-slapping clinch and pushing out. Another tie-up and Smith chips away on Buckland's ribs with his right. Uppercut by Smith misses. A pair of Buckland hooks miss. Neither man is making contact despite staying at close quarters. Right hand by Smith.

Nice roundhouse right on the cheek by Smith. Buckland is squatting down as Smith finds him with the 1-2 and falling right on the crown. Buckland is scoring uppercuts even as Smith comes swarming him. Smith gives up on forcing the issue, going outside and jabbing. Buckland reaches up with the jab, falling short. Smith is landing his on the back foot.
