Kovalev would streamroll hopkins and ward. neither of those two will even consider getting in the ring with him. Of course I give hopkins the better chance since he is an ATG, but ward would get brutalized.

 

Cleverley getting walked and held up by the ref on his way to his corner after the 3rd is some shameful ****. It isn't like British referees have a bad enough reputation.

 

Someone should GIF Nathan after the knock out where he has his eyes closed after the KO being sprayed with mist and you can see him say, "****"

Cleverly took one of his shots and made a showboat gesture, and KOvalev simply wanted to do a bit of showboating himself.

Nonetheless his ability to showboat is not near as impressive as his tenacity to finish the task at hand.:yep

He did and it was bizzare, he jumped in waving before the bell went and then decided to carry Clev to the corner.

One of my favourite films ever and when Sergei came out to this my fan love increased by 100 points. :good I was going to say something but figured the comment would be lost on everyone. You seen it i assume?

 

Never saw the fight but just seen the gif. Cleverly just looks like a boy in there in over his head. I was never that convinced about Cleverly but I wasn't convinced about Kovalev either but how wrong I was there.
It was a man against a boy in there.

 

Both, i prefer the first one, but the soundtrack for the second is great.

 

I don't doubt that Cleverly would beat both of them.

Cleverly has wanted the best since he won his title. He has repeatedly called on Dawson and Hopkins trying to make fights with them.

Seems he took this fight with KOvalev as way to show how shameful the likes of Hopkins and Stevendaughter are for ducking KOvalev so quickly after his win over White.

As for Ward.....he won't fight styles he can't beat. So don't expect him to fight anyone like KOvalev, Bute, Golovkin, or ERod.

He'll continue to fight 1-2 punchers who really soley on their L jab for offense and whom he can smother on the inside. :-(

When i heard Clev's gay-disco entrance music i knew that he gonna get beat up brutally, haha

 

I like kovalev as much as anyone, even remember him from the amateurs and Vysotsky is one of if not my favorite poster on ESB but I will stop short of demanding a Kovalev pelvic thrust GIF.

Only needed to see that once.
