Ya......he doesnt need to do that kindof stuff, but Im sure he watches the fights and knows he's not exactly the most colorful LHW. Im bet he think if he starts becoming something of a villain then the money will begin to roll in.

Did you hear what Duva said about HBO not wanting to sign him.....talk to them after he's won today.

I bet the $ amount just went up by 30%. HBO is prolly shitting themselves knowing there's nothing official between them and Showtime is prolly calling that ole hoe as we speak.:lol::lol:

Anybody notice how pissed Waren sounded about the way Clev fought when he gave the interview?

He wasn't supposed to stand there but he did anyway. Clev defiantly made it easy for him.
He was capable of a lot more.

I'm not sure he was. Cleverly has been on easy street for years and as a result, has simply not developed. I think that he was as good (if not better) than he's ever been tonight. He simply fought a top-tier opponent for the first time in his career.

When a brit gets beaten he's never beaten by the better man, every time it's some mistake he made and payed for.

Open your eyes and stop following shitty biased commentary.

Frank should be pissed off with himself for putting Cleverly in the ring with Kovalev. Misjudgement of the highest order.

Clev needs a proper trainer who can get him to make the most of his reach and height.
He didn't use his advantages and just fought dumb.
Still, Kovalev is very talented and is no hypejob.

**** wasn't even competitive. Cleverly really was never world class to begin with. Kovalev on the other hand, he's the real deal. I'd love to see him face Hopkins now against whom I could not pick a winner. Being heavy handed is of little use against Hopkins as he has proven time and time again. Unlike Pascal and Trout, Kovalev seems to have clean technique as well which is why I'd LOVE to see that fight.
