However Groves fought tonight, Froch will use it to stroke his ego, if Groves knocked Douglen senseless he'd say "That just shows how good that win was against a hungry good fighter who i've smashed twice."
Anything other it's "He's been cobra'd" - I think that Groves had a real off night and was mentally just not there, it's tough to hype yourself up from fighting a Froch to a Douglen.
Saying that he shouldn't have changed trainers, there was no fluency to his work, he didn't play to any of his strengths.
He was lucky that Douglen didn't have more pop, I hate when Groves goes to war he's so fragile and one shot away from a KO, it's mindless.
But when Groves sticks to outside boxing and moving in and out when he was with Booth he's world class. - He's very much like Khan in that respect, you could probably compare this fight to when Khan fought Paul McCloskey. He looked awful but still won.

Mismatch but getting rid of British level opposition early. Sprott has a few tricks and can cause a couple of problems.
Decent matchmaking, Joshua is still very very green.

 

I’m not going to buy into the Joshua hype until he beats Tony Thompson. Fool me once…
