Degale is no Ward, now you are underastimating Kessler.

It was a good fight, I want a rematch after Groves-Smith and the fight DeGale has in about 30 seconds, Assuming they both win. And if they let there hands go a little more we got a war even better then the last. :bbb

Piotr Wilczewski, is the Euro champ after stopping Amin Asikainen (the dangerous but fragile Finn).

His previous loss was by KO to Curtis Stevens (a very average operator most well known for his ineffective pressure against Andre Dirrell in what many consider the worst fight of the last ten years, where Dirrell earned a lot of haters with his negativity).

His nickname is "Wilk" - which is short for his last name but also a pun on the word for "wolf" in Polish.

    Round 1

DeGale pops his right jab from the outside in a trickle. Wilk tosses his left arm out wide and slips it around DeGale's waist. DeGale jabs from outside while circling to his left. Wilk clinches him down low again. DeGale works a short left uppercut while they are clamped together before they work their way out without interference. Wilk lets fly a big lead right and grazes DeGale on his way in, but flops against him with no follow-up. A few wide jabs and a right hand over the top by Wilk, just grinding past the shoulders of DeGale. Left jabs now by DeGale, turned orthodox. Good movement by DeGale. Whipping right to the flank by DeGale as they're pressed together on a turn. DeGale moves to his left and pops right jabs again.

    10-9 DeGale

This needs to hurry the **** up and be over (but will probably go eleven more rounds :verysad - almost more than all the previous shown matches combined).

    I want Cleverly-Bellew now.

IB, you're the man. And not just because youre the first non-Finnish ESB'er to spell Asikainens name right.

Asikainen was well past it when he fought Wilczewski, who really isnt all that as a fighter. DeGale TKO/PTS

The more I watch DeGale the less I think he's a natural. He always looks like he's thinking (and lets admit it he's not the brightest crayon) and as a result seems to take a long tiem to think about what he's got to do next.

    Round 2

DeGale is throwing the jab out and circling off, giving a wide berth. Wilk is tapping his own brow with his upheld right glove, and swinging his left arm low at his side as he pressures. Reaching right hands over the top by Wilk. DeGale is circling out and not throwing any real shots, just pawing with a left jab out of the right-handed stance. Wilk mirrors him from a few feet away, both leaning back and holding their lefts low and staring each other down. Nice quick scythes to the body by DeGale, landing softly. They push together and DeGale backs off to circle left. Wilk swipes with a slow left hook and is ducked. DeGale lands a right jab and then tags Wilk with a left as the Pole tries to duck backward and slip. DeGale circles in close and lands a BIG uppercut!! Wilk tries to hold him and is held up only by DeGale's presence! Sinks down a moment later but ruled a slip. Should be a knockdown!

20-18 DeGale but should be 20-17.
