Nathan Cleverly vs. Tony Bellew & James DeGale vs. Piotr Wilczewski RBR

Well, yeah. :yep That's become much more apparent in the 2nd, but the 1st had laid out a blueprint for a pretty tedious affair.

 

Round 3

Wilk trades left jabs with DeGale and then throws his arm up around DeGale's neck. DeGale switches back to southpaw and catches Wilk coming forward with the right jab. Now orthodox. Left jab, right uppercut. Wilk keeps coming and DeGale steps outside to circling and shimmy with drooped shoulders out of the way of Wilk's long lunging shots. They lean together and wrestle a bit. DeGale walks out. Wilk chases and lunges with a right as DeGale skirts by the ropes. Clinch. Push-off. Big left hook by DeGale in an exchange!! Wilk landed too, but not as crisply. Lunging right to the body by Wilk. DeGale is moving too fast for him. Wilk tries to walk him down to the ropes but DeGale leans back out of the way of Wilk's predictable and slow straight shots. Clinch. DeGale pushes Wilk back a few steps. Right uppercut by Wilk at the bell.

Round 4

Wilk lands a long jab. They flurry in close, and Wilk lands a right hand and left hook! DeGale is learning to respect Wilk's power a bit. DeGale dances his way outside and changes directions several times. Wilk stalks and lunges with an overhand right. DeGale catches him coming in with a left jab, and Wilk lands some body shots while trying to duck past it. Good partial connections by Wilk, pushing DeGale against the ropes and flapping his fists against DeGale's with just a bit of cranial contact. DeGale swings wildly with a looping right while backing up. BIG STRAIGHT RIGHT BY WILK!!! DeGale is rocked back to the ropes, head snapping!! Wilk ties him up and roughly shakes him. DeGale tries to lean in and works some left and right uppers to the chest. Wilk just pushes through the fire and shoves him back. Big left hook by DeGale. Long flurry by DeGale, hitting gloves as head hunts but planting a good hook on the hip.
