Again, Cleverly controls the round, Bellew has some nice late moments, but that is a Cleverly round.

    77-75 Cleverly.

    Round 9

The good jab of Bellew has returned. Cleverly can't get past it so he circles left. Cleverly throws his own jab on the move. Bellew aims and lands his jab while turning, and now a right hand. Cleverly circles to his right, just getting clipped with a right. Bellew doubles his jab. Cleverly is dancing on the outside, making Bellew lunge with the jab. Bellew drives through with a long lead right. Left hook, right hand combo by Bellew but Cleverly dances back out of the way and avoids the ropes with a quick turn. Cleverly ducks a few hooks and keeps circling out. Bellew lunges with his jab again, pressing the action. Cleverly is flicking out his own jab while bouncing around, but not placing it well. Bellew doubles his jab to set up a clubbing overhand right that gets ducked and falls against Cleverly's back. Bellew lands a jab and has another clubbing right crash into Cleverly's shoulder. Cleverly is hopping on his toes, getting tickled with the probing jab of Bellew. Cleverly is on the ropes, ducking and gets caught a bit despite some good defense.

    10-9 Bellew

    87-84 Bellew

Did Cleverly land anything worth anything in round 9? Odd round from him.

Bellew won this. Cleverly seemed to figure the angles out, then forgot about them. Bellew is one-dimensional, but might though this one out. Clev up 5-4 but it's close.

    7 -2

Cleverly won the round on ring generalship and nice jab work, Bellew doesn't know how to cut off the ring, and clev just danced around not throwing much because he is tired as well.

Bellew throwing a bit more, and jabbing. Cleverly slowing down.

    86-85 Cleverly.
