Had it 6-6. Did think a couple rounds I gave Bellew could have gone the other way or been even. That was a great fight and a rematch or two is necessary. Cleverly showed he isn't ready for Dawson/Hopkins/Cloud. Shumenov might be a stretch at this point too. I'd set him up with Diaconu or maybe Pascal, then the Bellew rematch, then a unification.

Cleverly would beat the **** out of Diaconu.

Anyway, people get too hung up over skills. Who cares what skills a guy has? That fight was nothing to do with showing off their ability, it was a pure war. If Cleverly wanted to show off his skills, he'd have boxed at range but he didn't, he wanted it to be a rough fight to prove his 'machismo'. He wanted to prove he had a great chin and allowed Bellew free shots. Bellew could have stuck with his jab but wanted to hurt and stop Cleverly, so he chose to fight.

Criticize guys after a poor performance, yes, but to criticize two warriors after that kind of fight proves nothing about the fighters but instead, says something about the "fan" criticizing.

Just watched tonight's fight. Cleverly would be finished by these two.
