Why are all the pundits pronouncing his name like "Baloo" (the bear from the Disney version of Jungle Book, and later the animated series TaleSpin)

Isn't it pronounced as it looks, Bell-ew? :?

He's right though. The British mentality always works this way - we diminish our own victories and build up others.

IB, if you're in Boston how do you manage to watch these fights? Or is it Boston, Lincolnshire?

Hopefully Liam Smith isn't as much of a dick as big Brother Paul. Completely arrogant ****.

Gerard Healy is a scrawny white boy walking out to some boom-boom reggae tune of some sort.

    He is 1-1.

He's up against 7-0-1 (3) Liam Smith in a light middleweight 6 rounder.

Liam is part of the Smith clan (includes brothers Stephen and Paul, both notable domestic fixtures in the featherweight and super middleweight divisions).

He is arguably the best boxer in the family.

Because English pundits/commentators are generally clueless or tits (see Bunce for great proof of that).

I have actually noticed that, particularly in the British forum - but he was still whinging an awful lot about it. Dalton beat Szekeres when the Hungarian's record was a respectable 7-3. Saunders caught him when he was 9-7-3. A bit different, wouldn't you say? When Dalton beat him, he didn't seem quite the "bum" he'd ultimately develop into.
