I know this is very unlikely and probably nigh impossbile but in order this is who I would like Cleverly to fight after Fry : Juergen Braemer - European Light Heavyweight Champion / WBO Interim Light Heavyweight Champion Hugo Hernan Garay - Former WBA Light Heavyweight Champion Jeff Lacy - Former IBF/IBO Super Middleweight Champion Clinton Woods - Former IBF Light Heavyweight Champion Beibut Shumenov - Light Heavyweight prospect and World Title Challenger Zsolt Erdei - WBO Light Heavyweight Champion I think this is a pretty sensible path to a world title considering
sensible? Braehmar would probabl beat him through experiance and savvy not saying hes probbaly slightly better anyway, although Clev does have worl class talent IMO.
Well lets see cleverly in his next fight to see if hes worked on his flaws from his last fight. people keep saying he needs to fight for a euro title and braemers the title holder so why not? Beside i looked up this Fry guy and it turns out he lost a UD to Tony Oakey so its most probably Cleverly is gonna walk through this guy
Half of those will be done by the time Cleverly gets round to them. I think he needs to face a decent puncher, then a guy with a rock solid chin before you can move him up to Euro level. He has only had two fights (Oakey and McIntosh) at British level so far, having cleaned out area and Afrobum levels.
I know mate but still im just saying theres a high chance cleverly will take him down and especially as his promoters frank warren I doubt hell have to go into deep waters
Styles make fights. Anyway, wasn't it just a 3 round fight in that prizefighter tourney against Oakey? You should not read too much into those fights IMO.
I really like Cleverly. I've only just been convinced of him but he can definitely be a world champion, I don't even know who they are at light heavy apart from Pascal with the WBC title and Cloud with the IBF.... which tells me they are just paper champions.
Fair nuf, didnt look much into them just had a quick peek at boxrec and i didnt know it was ordered by the bbboc, so meh anyways I think Cleverly would stand a good chance against those guys
I think the good thing about light-heavy is the amount of choice. Youve got brits, germans, eastern europeans, us fighters, pascal, south americans. All good, maybe none great. Theres no need to fight Afrobums any more. Injuries permitting, Id like to think we will get to know how good our guys are soon...
Why? He always comes across as a twat but it is mainly his smug git face. He is a very very good boxer though and probably a decent lad in person. **** off you thick ****.
