I don't think he's in the class of Dawson but could he do well against the likes of Shumenov, Cloud, an ageing Hopkins, Jean Pascal etc?

How highly or not is he rated as a light heavyweight? Has he fought anyone of very good quality?

I'd love to see him fight Cloud. Either he's getting knocked the **** out, or he wins a decision I think.

He does have some potential, but it's hard to judge because his opposition has been shockingly poor. I don't know why these sanctioning bodies encourage this kind of tom foolery.

I hope he rematches Tony Bellew.

His resume is appaling for a title holder, and he's not the greatest of punchers. What he does have though is the potent combination of a great work rate, fantastic conditioning and a very solid chin. On that basis alone he'd probably beat Pascal, Shumenov and maybe a past-it Hopkins..

His trainer is awful also, his bad corner could affect him in huge fights. Bad advice etc.

I'd love him to **** off into the Welsh Mountains and stay there.
He got lucky that Bellew gave him a tough box office friendly fight but the truth is(and I'm a Bellew fan) Tony's name means **** all thus far to the Americans.
His reign makes Joe Calzaghe's "lazy period" look like Carl Froch's last three years.
A ****ing joke. And the way Buncey tries to talk about him and his opponents as credible is quite nauseating.

Not only is his opposition poor, but I don't even rate his skillset. He thinks his Paul williams, but he's just not.

Most UK fans have taken to Cleverly , his action packed style is nice on the eye , he's exciting and very active which makes for a decent watch

The purists know he's flawed but again respect his fighting spirit , the consensus is he's fighting low risk medium reward to line his pockets with minimum damage sustained , fair play , its how its done these days

At world level its about how Frank matches Cleverly , anybody who can beat him to the punch or effectively outbox him and match his work rate will beat him , theres no doubt about it , but he's a determined kid who brings the heat , he'll be a handful for anyone in the division
