He looks skinny at 175. Does anyone know what he walks around at? I'm guessing most cruisers come into the ring around 210, clev isn't anywhere near big enough to compete at cruiser he will get walked down.
when he goe's upto heavyweight...The chicken **** Klitschko's will retire! ..they dont want any peace of clev!
i don't like this idea at all. he's lost one fight, big deal. just get yourself sorted, brush yourself down, and suck it up. Cruiserweight looks like a jump way too far. it's not like other divisions were it's a few pounds or so. we're talking 25 pounds here. there are plenty of fights at Lightheavy that he could win if he still has the desire. Kovalev is seen as the best guy at the weight, so it's no shame to lose to him. he didn't lose to a scrub or anything. hopefully it's only for a short period of time, and he does eventually go back down after a couple of confidence builders.
he has no power at LHW, he'll have even less at CW. doesn't matter though, he'll never hold a serious title again.
Nathan will be Champion. That was just a learning experience and i would still favour him again Kovalev again!..He fought the correct fight but just got caught on back of the head.. he stopped karo murat who hopkins couldnt stop!. Karo Murat is a big powerful light neavy weight who can fight comfortably at cruiserweight
LHW has been a weak division for the last couple of years. I bet many of the SMW's would beat the top LHW's moving up, Kovalev is just what happens when a really good LHW comes along. And LHW to CW is the biggest jump in boxing (25lbs), I can't see that end well for a guy like Cleverly.
He might not get past Ammann, to be honest. I've seen Daniel fight a bunch of times and he is fairly skilled and while he can be hurt it takes more power than what Cleverly is like to be carrying up. :think
