He is already easily above British title level, and I see him perhaps reaching European level but never becoming a world title contender. I think he peaks at top 20 in the world, but no higher than top 15. It will take a lot of hard work and dedication to reach that kind of peak. Its very early to make these assessments, but he does have 3 decent wins (Cojanu, Sokolowski & Turner) that point towards that level.
I like Nathan Gorman. From what I've seen he's a strong, aggressive fighter and entertaining to watch. He may not win a world title, but he could be a decent top 15 contender and in some interesting matchups with people like Dillian Whyte. Derek Chisora would be a good opponent for him in the near future.
Seems decent. Good punch selection etc . Defence is a weakness as he can be hit easily. Noticed he doesn't listen to his trainer between rounds and doesn't change anything when told.
A decent top 15 contender but then you drop the name of the #4 contender? Why don't you grow a pair and say top 5 then. Whyte is top 5.
Think that's aiming a bit high at the moment for Gorman mate. I'd say get him in with another rated prospect like Yoka maybe.
Very balanced overall , he's a top fighter . Could be susceptible to power technitions but not a lot of them in top 10. I think he's better then Kownacki.
He's looks like a decent boxer but in this era he's on the small side at 6'3" and with a T-Rex like 73" reach. I also wonder about his power at the top level, he's been taken the distance his last 2 fights and was taken 10 rounds by a guy Bakole stopped in 1. I suspect he'll end up a fringe contender but never break into the top level, kind of like Hughie Fury.
When Fury dethrones Wilder I reckon he could get a title fight vs him. Fury to go through a bum carousel like Wilder has.
Skilled, but lacks the raw physical attributes to make a difference at the top level. No fighter in that kind of conditioning is going to make any waves. Please Deontay, I really want to see you beat up another huge behemoth! Make the Gorman fight as soon as possible, lol!
He looks okay but nothing special. I see him as a John McDermott type - game and might spring the odd surprise, but otherwise a gatekeeper. I reckon he'd beat Daniel Dubois who is Larry Olubamiwo Mk II.
