just watched it and it just seemed his size and punch output just too much for Hughes but he didn't seem as fleet footed as he generally is.

Basically overwhelmed him.

Saying that I'm not seeing what's so great about zepeda that them god awful commentators were constantly shilling about.

Good points bud. I think Zepeda is decent and will be involved in some good fights.

It annoys me that sometimes boxers find themselves in these stressful positions pre fight and on fight week due to their teams being so incompetent with paperwork etc. it sounds like he had a bloody nightmare.

Reminds of when Ryan Rhodes went to box Canelo and his management had not even had the foresight (or maybe just the lack of brain power) to have completed standard ESTAs as they were stopping somewhere stateside just to get a connection to Mexico. They almost missed their flight and RR said it was a nightmare and he found it stressful scrambling around at the airport last minute just to be able to board. Thinking about it though, he would have been ‘looked after’ by that cretin Coldwell so maybe it’s not so much of a surprise.

People forget how much of a killer GGG was, mainly due to the raw power and his amateur schooling. Could hold his own in any era.
