Without resorting to the childish Matchroom vs Queensberry debates on here, it's amazing how Frank has come out so well in the last few years since he took on BT Sport and Fury. He's clearly positioned himself well in the Saudi deals to the extent Matchroom are delighted to work with him, the UK shows are decent and this "5x5" thing sounds like it'll be good fun when it comes. Can't knock him.

Frank Warren is stronger than ever and that's impressive considering everything he's been through. I can't help but admire him.

Warren is a survivor. Around 2016/17 when he was on Box Nation and Matchroom/Hearn were at the peak of their powers with Sky and AJ etc it looked bleak for him. He’s turned it around brilliantly.

Moving to DAZN UK made Hearn plenty of money but it has been a disaster for the Matchroom Profile in the UK.

His fights are now watched by less then 300 subscribers and he needs to get a Mainstream Broadcasting Meal Deal if he is to recover his profile in the UK.

Frankie Boy is the daddy again.

Is it the truth or just saving face though.

Anyway it makes sense that they wouldn't throw him straight back in with baluta.

    Has to be next though?

Hope so, ideally we get that fight next.

Would quite like to see a fight for Liam Davies on the 5v5 but think it could be a sticking point, Frank probably doesn't want to potentially derail him against MJ and Eddie might not want Masoud in with him.

If he's not on it then let's get Doheny next hopefully for an eliminator of some sort.

I was busy with work all weekend and now I have watched the entire TNT Sports broadcast from Saturday and I think she did a good job. I would definitely prefer her to a youtuber.

Unfortunately, I think that there is a tendency to bring in a YouTuber who knows nothing about boxing.

This is where the whole 5v5 concept falls down for me.

"His Excellency" wants the best 5 vs the best 5. The boxers aren't to know who their opponent is until it's announced in front of them (can't see the BBBoC agreeing to that?) - and surely the promoters aren't going to risk some of their best prospects in nothing fights even for big money?

This is where the weight selection comes in I reckon, it'll be stitched up so nobody really loses out. Are there particular divisions where Matchroom or Queensberry are weaker?

Would they pull a swift one such as Warrington switching to Queensberry the night before, so he can fight Wood? :)

I´m well aware that Parker has had a break but I really think he looked poor.

A really good and entertaining main event but Heaney won't have a long career. He is far too easy to hit.

You'd have to think that the Board won't have that, agreed.

I think there'll be some reasonable match-ups but can't see Wood. I think they take advantage of guys who aren't big ticket sellers. "His Excellency" will probably have to settle for some big prospects instead.

Frank would probably benefit from going heavyweight, Eddie only really has Huni and he was just in a tough fight very recently. Below that it's Fisher and Jordan Thompson who was meant to be moving up. Maybe he signs Franklin or something. Probably also middleweight (Sheeraz arguably better than Ammo) and super bantam (Davies is better than Masoud, but if Matchroom go MJ that's a very tough fight).

If Pacheco comes through his fight in April easily then he could go on, and that's probably a guaranteed W because Zach Parker looked poor Saturday. Lightweight he could throw Andy Cruz on and that's even more of a guarantee. 140 he's got plenty and Frank's only really got Pierce O'Leary.

Would love it but not yet! Give him a headliner again next, Doheny or somebody (or maybe get him on the 5v5). The way the Monster's going though it doesn't look like the belts will fragment any time soon unfortunately.
