Nathan King lost to Kenny Anderson, but it was close and Kenny looked like he had been in a war at the end of it, it was his 10th fight. King has lost more than he has won and has been stopped. Out of Degale, Jeffries and Sutherland who will be ready for the likes of Nathan King first?
i reckon sutherland would take him out i couldnt believe how hard that dude hits, hes like a supermiddle miguel cotto at this stage i would probably fancy both sutherland and jeffries to stop deGale don't know if that would change in the future, however we've never seen any of these guys tagged by a solid puncher which will inevitably happen at the level they have the ambition for, so all we know sutherland have the worst chin of the lot. (for some reason i doubt it)
Sutherland and Jeffries would beat him comfortably I believe. DeGale would win a points victory also, but Sutherland would have the more impressive victory.
Just letting you guy's know Kenny Anderson suffered a broken rib at the end of the 3rd round, he looked crap last night and i couldnt understand why, untill his brother came out and told us he was away to hospital. Dean powell wanted him to retire in the 6th but Anderson refused.
Did he get any kind of hand injury too? He didn't seem to be throwing any right hands towards the end of the fight, or was that because of the broken rib?
No as far as i know his hand is fine, he was just in agony, I dont know if anyone has suffered a broken rib before but I have playing rugby and it's the most painfull thing i'v had, how he managed to fight 6 rounds with it i really dont know. Kenny has offered King a rematch as soon as his rib has healed, His brother said he is gutted by his performance and wants to show King what he is all about asap.
Anderson looked like ****. If King had had any kind of ambition to win the fight, he would have knocked anderson TFO. Degale isn't even in Kings league at the moment, and doesn't look like he will be in the near future, whereas Jeffires, and more so Sutherland seem to have adapted to the pro game far better. Degale is just a **** who believed his own hype too much, ****ing bell end that he is.
Even prior to him getting a rib broken, he didn't do anything to suggest that he may get his man out of there. Granted he had his man on the ropes a few times, but King was coming back with his own bombs. If King was a man of ambition, he could have found anderson no problem, then anderson would have been in the **** broken ribs or no broken ribs.
Think what you want mate, Anderson always takes a round to warm up and he broke his rib in the 3rd so that gave him a round and a bit to get King out of there, King has only ever been stopped once and that was on a cut its not like he cant take a shot. I would say get your guy Smith in with King but King is to high a class of journey man for Smith he prefers the 7-43 one's.
I thought King was in trouble at the end of the second and if the round had lasted 30s longer he could have been stopped. Anderson also dominated the third and at the start of the fourth I was thinking that it might be the last round of the fight but Anderson just changed completely. I knew something must have happened.
I think you are making out King to be a LOT better than he actually is. He is a tidy regional area boxer, but nothing more than that.
King is not all that great he is tricky with a good chin, he is a good test for up and coming guys at around there 6-12 fight depending on where there at.
