read all of my posts on the matter moron

i said he shouldn't have said them..i said it many times

i also said that many of the people screaming and yelling about it are extremely hypocritical. they are the same people with pictures of floyd with homosexual images photoshopped into the photo and/or racially insensitive/insulting photshops. to them, it si funny when it is about another person, or another race, but it's not ok if they are the target.

also, and NO ONE has yet to answer me this...how is paquiao (and fans) so morally high and mighty when it comes to floyd's racist/homophobic rant, but they let bob arum's slide?

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4fIkly8-cI[/ame]

what floyd said was wrong, but he is not alone. asking for him to be penalized while the likes of bob arum and hopkins get a free ride is ok?

    again...hypocrisy

oh, and just browse some pro-pac sites...you can see some wonderfully racially tolerant threads...lets see, in a few minutes i saw

"If Pacquiao is the CHUMP, who is the CHIMP?" guess the answer

    and

dirty-mouth ugly American floyd (wtf does the fact that he is american have to do with his comments? only americans are racist? seems like some stereotyping going on in this posters comment)

    let's see

how many times have you seen "gayweather?" i guess that is ok for the pinoy population since it isn't directed at their hero (hypocrites)

    more

    "Floyd's a wacky chimp"

    and

    Jr's ugly alright....

    This content is protected

yep, all this from those who are outraged by "racist and homophobic comments"

oh..and here is a great one: "Floyd Mayweather = Morbid Attitude; Insane Black American ******"

so, please show me where i said what floyd said was ok...because i never did

i must have said a dozen times, what he said was wrong

    but,

    1. the man manned up and apologized

    2. while wrong, he is far from alone...want to penalize him, penalize all those doing the same thing....hopkins, arum, etc.

    A. if you try to use the "athelete's are role models" line...it only strengthens the fact that arum should be included in these "penalties, since he is the voice of pacquiao to the western media

    3. pacquiao can work for a racist and homophobe, and that is ok, but floyd, who is separate from team pac says something insensitive and it's wrong...that is being hypocritical

    4. many of the people throwing a fit have or are doing and saying things much worse...again, hypocrites

you don't like floyd, don't buy his fights, but if you are going to start attacking him and trying to get him suspending from boxing because of him saying "yellow" than play fair and go after all those involved....otherwise, hypocrite

Philippino's are some of the racist people in the world. They are even racist against themselves. If you watch their TV shows, you will see that only lighter-skinned Philipino's are mostly on. A dark-skinned Pinoy has to be very talented to get on TV their.
They will openly tell you that they prefer light skin, as darker skin their means you are probably a blue-coller worker.

I was watching "The Animal" again in HBO just now. There was a black guy who gets a pass on everything he does because prosecuting him is in itself racist.:lol:

There's a HUGE difference between stupid youtubers and a public figure like Floyd. Floyd has the responsibility to act half-human as he's under the watchful eye of millions (men, women, and kids who look up to him) Obviously he realized this, which is why he apologized. But you can't unscramble scrambled eggs.

Otherwise, it's not just "pinoys" who are racist on youtube. You can see a racist comment from any other race on almost every popular video on youtube. That's just the way it is there. Every race has rotten eggs, so what difference does it make? Youtube is crawling with these scumbags, but their voice isn't on a stage no where near the size of Floyd's.

You're right. There are alot of hypocritical Pac fans who are racists or have used racist words. Those idiot Pacfans don't represent the entire Philippines and all of Filipinos. Does that give Floyd the right to say what he did? Of course not and I'd like to think you'd agree with that. Two wrongs don't make a right. My point was why you'd make fun of a group for feeling insulted instead of calling out the idiot that started this mess. Even if it wasn't your intention, it sure looks to others like you defend Floyd's actions. Society is trying to move forward away from racism and this group is taking a hard stance on the issue. How would it look if some idiots made fun of the NAACP for trying to look out for some minorities that were discriminated against?

:goodGood post... The only thing...Floyd's comments weren't racist. It isn't because I'm black and he's black. They didn't come off as racist. It came off more as **** talking... If PAc were to say the same ****, or even Carl Froch...I'd understand their thoughts. Some fighters just don't have the pizazz to say something considered offensive and get away with it...

You're an ignorant moron. I'm sure you've never even been to the Philippines seeing that you can't even spell FILIPINO correctly. The Philippines is a multicultural and very religious society. Filipinos, as well as other East Asian countries, like having lighter skin as much as Caucasians like putting on a nice suntan. Does that make Filipinos racist? Go find some books and literature on Filipino racism and come back here with that. I'll give you a lifetime to look for one.

There's always a first for everything. Just like Floyd who wants to be the first boxer to require OSDT in all of his opponents (even if boxing authorities did not require such at the moment) then it's maybe fitting for Floyd as the first boxer (or boxing personality) to be penalized for grave racist misconduct. A disciplinary action will surely teach Floyd (and others) a lesson.

Racism is a shameful act and should be condemned by everybody.
