ummmm, so this article is about a bunch of americans of filipino descent upset at DoomAss? Why would this be new and why would anyone care?

I always wondered why people make such a big deal about eating dogs. Not that I've ever eaten one.

Seriously though, Filipinos have a large share of ignorant populace (look at the damn country ffs). At the same time they are very friendly and some of the most hospitable people on earth.

Actually, I feel sorry for the country. They are selling out as a whole and have no self-pride, for the most part. They let countries like Korea and China(especially) set up shop there, and open businesses, hire Pinoy's for cheap labor, and live high on the hog over there. A lot of the restaurants and nightclubs cater to either Koreans or Japanese, and will kick you out if you aren't with a Korean or Japanese. They've got Koreatowns and Chinatown. Angeles City is pretty much run by Korean money.
The sad thing is that the workers are just happy to make the pittance they are making and could care less about anything else. I could not work for racists just to make money. The government knows this, but doesn't care, because they are getting their cut.
The sad thing is that the best malls in the world seem to be in the Philippines, but they are Chinese owned. The Corporation that bought a portion of the Cleveland Cavaliers last years owns (SM or Robinsons, I don't remember) half the malls in P.I. The other half are Chinese, owned, two.
I just feel bad seeing kind, gentle, innocent people like the Philippines let themselves be exploited because someone gives them a few shiny things.

 

I suggest all Pinoys boycott future Mayweather fights, even if its against Mayweather himself.
