After recent wins for Callum Smith and AJ, I'm interested to see people's current top 10 British p4p lists..I'd go for 1. Anthony Joshua 2. Callum Smith 3. Carl Frampton 4. Ryan Burnett 5. Billy Joe Saunders 6. Kal Yafai 7. Dillian Whyte 8. Josh Warrington 9. Josh Taylor 10. George Groves
1. AJ 2. BJS 3. Dogboe 4. Smith 5. Burnett 6. Frampton 7. Warrington 8. Whyte 9. Groves 10. Taylor ( i can see him jumping to top 3 when he wins the series).
AJ, BJS, C. Smith, Yafai, Dogboe, Frampton, Burnett, Bellew, Taylor, Groves. Not sure what order i'd put them in but they're the top 10 in my opinion
Joshua - WBA,WBO,IBF,IBO Smith - Ring, WBSS, WBC Diamond, WBA Burnett - WBA super and unified. Warrington - IBF BJS - WBO Frampton - Interim WBO Dogboe - WBO Yafai - WBA Taylor Bellew.
(Something a bit different) Pound For Pound based on ability alone: 1. Callum Smith 2. Kell Brook 3. Carl Frampton 4. Billy Joe Saunders 5. Kal Yafai 6. Josh Taylor 7. Josh Warrington 8. Ryan Burnett 9. George Groves 10. Tyson Fury
He does have the British nationality now, right? So he should be just as British as Lewis used to be, and Whyte and your (dell)boi Chisora are now.
I was thinking the same. We can't be claiming him Got to say I think in terms of ability, Saunders, Frampton are out in their own league in terms of Britain. Josh Taylor maybe soon to prove he belongs there too
Saunders is slick and seems a natural boxer but just how many top level opponents has he fought? I’d like to see him against Charlo or Jacobs and see how good he is. I think Golovkin and Canelo both beat him but they beat everyone. They’re best of generation fighters.
Your point is a fair one but his style is a nightmare for anybody. A lot of it depends what BJS shows up really, but when it's the one like against Leimeux, he's going to be hard for anybody. It's obviously very much probable that both of those beat him yeah, but in my opinion he is the only man outside of those two who can actually possibly beat them
Dogboe moved here when he was 7 apparently...Chisora moved here when he was 15, Whyte when he was 12, nobody questions their Britishness. He’s British chaps. Feel free to stick him in your top 10.
Those two very much class themselves as British with heritage elsewhere though...that's the difference. Dogboe is proudly Ghanaian although yes with British nationality now. He probably feels fondly for Britain but his interviews seem that he classes himself Ghanaian first and foremost
