What is up with NA heavyweights and those rolly polly bodies of their's? Look at Joe Hipp and recently Arthur Cook. They both have those flabby bellies. Is it laziness and a lack of training, or is it a genetic thing? Also, are there anymore hopeful NA heavies?

Shawn Hawk at cruiser isn't flabby... he's not very lean either.
Andre Roberts (mma) oink oink. That guy had some schpeck on him.

True enough, I forgot about him. But still...it just seems strange to me that for the most part, NA heavies have the same body types.

I think it's just because of genetics. Most bigger Native Americans I know aren't these big, ripped guys; they tend to be a little softer. At the same time the lighter ones I know are usually pretty solid and in shape.

Hmm... I suppose you're right. To be honest, I just remembered that my stepdad is full blooded Native American and he might be older, but he always kinda had a softer midsection. Arms have always been ripped as hell though, even now at 51, but that midsection was always soft...

I thought Native Americans were extinct. They're damn near there.

    Not in Montana.

Anyway, our regional Super Heavyweight for the Wymondak region is a Lakota I think; and he's something like 6'6 and 270. Just a man-mountain, but not a big bodybuilder type.

Not in Washington either, lol. Wow, is he planning on going pro? Record? What's his story?

Isn't Tommy Morrison 1/2 native american? He's pretty ripped. There's quite a few native tough guys who were/are in the NHL who are very fit.

Hmm...:huh I don't remember hearing this, but I could see him saying so. He doesn't look it though. But then again, I have quite a bit of NA blood in me, and I don't look like anything resembling a NA.

I remember reading a quote by his mother wondering why he was called a white hope when he was half native. There really isn't a Native American look.
