Even though Roy Jones did seem to be physically gifted, he did work exceptionally hard.

One of the side effects of having a pushy father that was borderline psychotic.

Remember reading an interview with Jones where he said there were days as a child where he trained 12 hours in a day.
And where, verytime he messed up the father would hit him with a belt.

I suspect most of the Great Boxers were very Naturally Talented, then had the Disipline and Work ethic to Hone those Gifts to put themselves on that rare Plateau.

    Ray Robinson
    Charley Burley
    Willie Pep
etc etc etc They had the look of natural super corodinated Athetes simply in the way they moved,

zab, pacquiao, and khan are all naturally talented fighters, sadly their natural talent has hindered their ring iq, and fundamentals though.

    haha, pretty much.

Having a insanely pushy parent, doesnt help one get to the top.

EXACTLY!! Having incredible God Given natural talent alone will not make anyone an ATG. To be a great champion a fighter needs the heart of a lion, cojones of steel & the will to meet all comers .
Ali, Robinson, Pep, Burley etc had all those attributes & therefore their legacies are those of ATGs.
Now look at fighters like Floyd, Jones jr, Judah. They had the talents but lacked the FIGHTERS!!! hearts. They cherry picked, ducked & dodged their way through their careers. In doing so they , in my opinion, forfeited their chances of being bona fide ATG's. There is no one to blame but themselves for that

Pacquiao has terrible fundamentals. He has poor balance, he drops his hands when he punches, and he tends to lunge.
