Khan is moving in with high-climbing jabs on the brow and flurries to the body as Croes looks to catch him coming in with a right hand, cradling it hidden behind his chin and coming close but no cigar as Khan darts in and out. Khan is firing the jab out and then up, so it ricochets skyward after hitting Croes' gloves. Khan whips in an overhand right on the body as Croes is twitching his upper body either way and anticipating a head shot.

Round 3

Khan is doubling his jab into the guard of Croes, then sticking a hard single jab in to burst through it and poke him on the gut. Croes is stepping forward, high turtle shell, dropping his elbows to his waist as Khan darts in and skewers it with lead right hands. Combo up top by Khan, dancing around Croes. Hard jab by Khan. Counter jab on the chest by Croes, thudding and forcing him him off balance as Khan is backing out. Uppercut by Khan swooping in from outside. Croes is moving in and rolling into a ball when he sees Khan throwing, catching an overhand right on his raised left shoulder with his face obscured.

Round 4

Khan is crouching and staring down Croes, straightening up and putting in jab and roll-over right hand combos. Croes is following with a body guard, left arm draped over his side and bent over his waistband, right glove hovering down at his navel to catch those long spears downstairs that Khan favors. Khan adjusts and leaps in dropping light blows on the top of Croes' head. Khan jabs into the guard of Croes and starts to pull back. Croes drops his arms and Khan boomerangs in, landing a flush second jab on the gob and snapping Croes' head back. Croes' entire face is reddened. Big right hand attempted to the body by Croes, but Khan moves with it , back partly turned, and minimizes the impact.

The referee scores the contest 40-36 to Haroon Khan.

 

Haroon sounds much like Khan, but less of a douche...humbler and sharper.

He feels 2014 will be his year to hopefully try for an English or even British title.

Jamie Hughes vs. Lee Duncan, 6 rounds @ light heavyweight

 

Hughes looks a real killer. You'd be surprised to see he's 4-0 with just one stoppage - until you realize his last three opponents were notoriously tough guys who almost never get stopped.
