Curtis Woodhouse has sparred Maxi Hughes many times and expresses surprise that he dropped to super feather, saying he was a good strong lightweight.

 

Round 1

Hughes is stepping through, putting stiff right jabs up as he plants his right foot inside Nagy's base. Powerful left uppercuts behind the jab by Hughes. Nagy is rocked by a series of straight and uppercut lefts. Nagy backs into the ropes and fires a blind line drive right, sidestepping to get free. Hard right jabs by Hughes. Double right jab shot up in the air and hard left downstairs by Hughes.

Hughes is jabbing at the forehead as Nagy sits low with earmuffs on. Jabs and left hands on the head with a few swats on the body by Hughes. Nagy is swinging wildly, bowling in body shots with his chin buried to his chest, standing in with Hughes and taking clapping shots atop the head.
