Just rewatched it and it is what it is. Mayweather started tagging him hard and forced Shane into fighting the way he did. It is as simple as that.

If Nazim gets credit for SSM's win over Margo then he equally deserves blame for his fighters performance last night.

Naz gave good advice, not that shane didnt execute he couldnt execute. He didnt have the tools for the job. So naz had to see what shane could do and then see if with that he could exploit floyd. It didnt make a difference he was out his dpth and wasnt the fighter who could do it.

Nazim is a great trainer, but as other people have said or at least insinuated a trainer can only go so far. Not that trainers aren't important, in fact they are vital, the gulf between someone like a Nazim or Steward and a guy like Santiago is vast and I already feel better for Cotto for having Steward in his corner. However, this isn't a Margarito or a Pavlik Nazim was taking a fighter against. Nazim was taking Mosley in against one of the best fighters of this generation. Really, there isn't another trainer out there that would have had Mosley do any better against Mayweather.

How big is Naz's stable anyways? I know he has Mosley, Hopkins, and Cunningham...anyone else?

You're guy Margarito was supposed to destroy/retire him, no? Great may be too strong a word, and I wasn't using it as an adjective in reference to his record which isn't deep enough. I meant from what I've seen I like his advice. This is limited to Mosley and Hopkins, I liked what he was telling Cunningham against Braithwaite.

I can have my opinion and you can have yours. End of.

agreed. he said and did all the right things. was patient with him, TRIED to calm him down, motivate him, then upped it when necessary and told him to wake the f up, yelled at him, practically begged him to let his hands go, and finally threatened to throw in the towel. the trainer can't fight for the fighter.

Looks like "Brother" Nazim couldn't get Mosley to swim without getting wet without the roids or EPO's.

    roach is great
    emanuel stewart is great
    bernstein is great
and only a handful of others are great....

**** even joel diaz should get more respect than naz, he atleast created and has a good unified champ on his hands.....

the garcias from oxnard are way better than naz.....
