Watched plenty of Barry back in the day but didn't have the fortune of watching the bloke fight ringside live like i did with Naz , all said and done i say Naz is right .
Im going to rewatch the Taylor-Mcguigan fight tonight mate:goodAnd I will have a look at taylor-Pedroza sometime. Tbh I have seen feck all of Taylor besides his fight with Mcguigan, a fight that I havent watched in years, so I cant compare his ability to Dunne's. As for Dunnes punching power, obviously he was never a one punch knock out hitter, he was a technician. But I think that his lack of knockouts is something to do with the fact that he couldnt afford to engage with his opponents and land power punches, for fear of letting his vunerable chin get tagged. This was especially true post Kiko Martinez. If Dunne had an iron chin, he has to be given at least a chance of outboxing Barry ( although I think barry would wear him down with body punches in the latter rounds, iron chin or not ). But I suppose you cant give a fighter traits he never had, so as it stands i think Barry would stop him anywhere from round three onwards:good
Have done this before and I think I went with Naz.But it depends on the rounds if its over 15 it could swing Barry`s way
Naz would have him out of there inside 5 rounds...:yep To unorthodox and powerful for Barry McGuigan...:deal
I love the way, how to this day, the Naz fans are still in denial about how he got totally outclassed by Barrera. The excuses are embarassing. A good fight, Naz probably beats Barry, but Naz is nowhere near the fighter some folk even give him credit for today.
