Nazeem Richardson: Trinidad was legal just not in NY, Margarito had a weapon!

Richardson contradicts himself a little. First he implies that tito's wraps gave hm a big advantage (by making a big point of how joppy's never been ko'd like tito did before or since) then he act's like it was nothing compared to what margo had:huh

 

Because it wasnt. Tito's was an illegal wrapping technique...Margo's was an illegal substance. They are two entirely different things.

funny how trinidud threw everything but the kitchen sink at mayorga and still couldn't ko him clean. mayorga was dead tired and quit. then his protege lopez gets busted for the same cheating antics in new york. must be something they teach dirty trainers on the island.

The sad part is how Evangelista, being Cotto's UNCLE and FAMILY, didn't bother to check. I always knew Cotto had issues with him and he always looked like a dickhead anyway, glad to see he's fired.

About Margarito, as we have been telling the ******s(you know yourselves) on this forum all along, Margarito is nothing but a hypejob and a tomato can at best, his boxing ability is BELOW basic and he has ZERO skills. I saw ******s here try to mention him as some defensive master because Cotto said he couldn't hit him in the body, well here's news for you, Cotto didn't CARE to throw to the body. Anyone else that fought this guy knows he's wide open for whatever punch you plan to throw. The guy was hailed a throw-back gladiator by many idiots here when he was CLEARLY making a career calling out guys HALF his size and he would need concrete in his gloves to compete AND LOSE against them.

Anyone in this thread backing up Margarito or bashing on Nazim needs to jump out the window and land on his head, we don't want UFC fans in the boxing community we have enough of ******s already.

Also, I wouldn't put a proven established ATG like Trinidad in the same sentence as the tomato can Margarito.

i hear u but like i said richardson clearly believes that tito likely had some extra help in some of his other fights b/c of what he says about joppy, so i guess he thinks margo had a lot of extra help.

In response to the allegations of illegally wrapping his son’s hands, Felix Trinidad, SR. came out saying that he does place a lot of gauze on the hand of all his fighters, but not an excess amount of tape. On the other hand, the representatives of Bernard Hopkins who saw and contested Trinidad’s hand wrapping, tell a different story, saying Trinidad’s hands had four to five layers of gauze and tape, compared to only having a knuckle pad and then tape.

I'll tell you what, trainers are f'n shady though. They do a lot of stuff if not picked up with the trained eye.

My buddy with the NSAC pointed me out to the guy that was working one of the fighters from last week's Shobox card at the TI here in Vegas. Told us how they would pull the skin back on the knuckle (I can't explain it) and he warned him. The trainer pretended not to hear but my friend threatened to call in his NCAC buddies and he immediately stopped. Some stuff can be done in other states but not in Nevada.

 

Margarito sure beat the crap out of Williamson! Blood every where and Williamson refused to fight a rematch, but expect one from Quintana!
