I believe Nazeem probably wants this fight more than anything, if Mosley is victorious would this be Nazeem best one yet for him. Or would you guys still rate the Hopkins over Trinidad or even the Hopkins over Kelley as more impressive and significant for Mr.Richardson?

Naseem is a great trainer and I bet he's thinking of a gameplan as we speak(technically type but whatever). I think if Shane pulls out the W, that'll be a bigger upset than Hopkins-Pavlik or Hopkins-Trinidad so this fight in my opinion is more significant as long as Mosley does what he needs to do.

If Shane wins then it will be great for Brother Nazeem! But not as big as an upset as Hopkins Pavlik cos no one eexpected Hopkins to win that one.

    Even I didnt lol!

He doesn't strike me as the sort of bloke who thinks like that i.e one of his fighters victories reflecting well on him, unlike mayweather snr i don't Richardson has a massive ego to take a fight "for himself" or fallout with a fighter if they choose a different trainer over him like Hopkins did with Roach in the Calzaghe fight, which is one of his main strengths.

to get the win here shane for me needs knock downs, he needs to floor mayweather at least once in the fight

i think that will be in Brother Nazeems thinking, how can I knock him down?

How can I make mayweather fight offensively against Mosley?

Get an early knock down or 2, then mayweather will fight with mosley, thats mosleys best al tho very slight hope in my opinion

Bouie Fischer was Hopkins' trainer when he fought Trinidad.

Fischer was the head trainer we know that, but wasn't Nazim assistant trainer? Sometimes these assistant trainers play a bigger role in a fighter than the head trainer. In many cases we see they eventually become head trainers.

Nazim isn't replaced for the Calzaghe fight because Hopkins thinks Roach is superior. Roach is there because Nazim suffered a stroke then for the Winky fight and overstayed up to Calzaghe fight while Nazim is recovering. Hopkins wouldn't go with any other trainer had the stroke didn't happen.

Bro. Nas was a 2nd in Bhop corner in the Tito fight. Besides trainers get too much credit for fighters wins and losses. Nas should take the most pride in the Margo fight for finding the illegaly wrapped hands.

Like I stated sometimes assistant trainers play a very important role. I also would greatly disagree with your statement. Trainers play a very important role in a boxers career. Boxing is a huge mental sport more than anything physical. A trainer is just not a trainer, but a mentor and even at times become father figures in some of these fighters. Fighters get cocky at times, trainers remind them, makes them focus, train, game plan, too many things to list.
