Nazim is saying what I have been saying to *******s for a long time now. Pac isnt a small fighter, he merely started at a lower weight, at the same time or age Floyd was at the very same weight. Nazim is the man, and the reason that he is fast becoming the best trainer in the sport.
but there's no denying pac is a small welter. he didn't even made 145 when he was being forced fed already. at the moment he's natural weight class is jr. welter.
You people are so stupid and such sheep it's unbelievable!!! I'll translate for you what Nazim said: 1. at the highest level of boxing all fighters have the same set of skills and abilities so the guy that wins is the guy who has the better strategy 2. the taller fighter isn't necessarily the bigger fighter Since you're so ****ing stupid I'll tell you that he's wrong on the first thing. Pacquiao and Floyd don't have the same set of skills and abilities.
When Brother Nazim speaks, the truth is told and we are lucky we can hear his words. To all the young kiddos and casual fans out there: sit down, STFU and listen. There's no better way to learn.
He's not saying all elite fighters "have the same set of skills & abilities". He said: "Everybody at this level can fight, everybody is special up at that level. So your queen can't do more than my queen, your rook doesn't move in a way my rook doesn't move. It's going to be the strategy employed that makes the difference". He's saying they're playing the same game & that neither one is handicapped relative to the other. That's why strategy is key. The chess analogy is even more apt because the 1st two moves define the difference between the two sides: White always attacks first; Black always defends first. But way to point fingers @ the entire thread of posters...
They don't have the same set of skills and abilities but they're both extremely skilled and have tremendous abilities nonetheless. He wasn't saying they had the same set of skills, he's saying they're both skilled and are both fighting at the highest levels of the sport so it all comes down to game plan and execution.
False, at least not at 19 years old. PBF: 19 years old -- 1996 -- 131 lbs Pac: 19 years old -- 1998 -- 114 lbs PBF: 5'8.0", 72" reach Pac: 5'6.5", 67" reach Floyd is the bigger man, there's no doubt about it. Floyd knows it, too, which is why he's said the fight is a "no-win" for him. The bigger man is supposed to beat the smaller man. Naz knows that, he's just talking his general smack and also saying what's important for the PBF training camp mindset.
Well said. Always some smart ass who think he's the genius. When he himself couldn't even grasp what was being said.
