Floyd has great defense but can still be tagged so Manny may take advantage of that. Not that it hurt him but even JMM was able to hit him flush.
I agree. I keep saying this. People here know me as a FMJ supporter, but supporter does not mean blind follower. We have to analyze the style matchup and yes, FMJ gets caught early. The scary part is that it is usually a SCARY shot. No matter the stance, for some reason early in fights FMJ comes in either lazy or too close with a 1-2. The opponent (Judah, Hatton, Corely) catches him over the top with at BIG shot. If it was any other fighter I would say it would spell trouble, but Mayweather always recovers well. Manny's big shot though? I don't know. Here it is: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtyDlsOO98A&feature=player_embedded[/ame] :30 mark (My boy Zab!!!) [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=din0rds-EfI&feature=fvw[/ame] You get the idea. Stay on point Money and this should be all day!
Yeah, I think that Floyd should keep it in the center of the ring like he did against Marquez. If he goes defensive and stays on the ropes, he's gonna be in big trouble because Pac will just keep punching non stop and won't tire, punches are eventually gonna land and do some damage. Of course, since I'm rooting for Pac, I hope Floyd stays on the ropes...
Yeah, a lot of Floyd fans just love posting about how Pac is weak against good right hands and good jabs and good counterpunchers and that's why Floyd is going to win. But all that is old news, almost everybody knows that, even Pac fans and for sure Roach knows that as well. The the bigger question is what will happen once Pac starts to land, because if Marquez, who was slow at the weight was still able to hit Floyd flush, I honestly don't think Pac won't land flush shots on Floyd. Pac will definitely have a very very hard time landing, but he will land and with his punch output, he can do that throughout the fight. The most intriguing part of this fight isn't want Floyd brings to the fight, we've all seen the tools he has that can be used (and have been used by other fighters) effectively against Pac. The big question is how will the tools that Pac brings factor in the fight? Floyd represents the sweet science at the highest level and has shown that against fighters who fight by the book, he can't be beat. Pac doesn't fight by the book, he fights in his own very unorthodox way. He fights in a way that shouldn't work, but because of his immense physical talents it works extremely well and presents a very unique, fast and hard hitting puzzle for other fighters. It's such a great dichotomy, the 2 greatest fighters in the world today and they're a contrast to each other in every way possible. Ah damn, I've gone and hyped the fight up for myself even more... great fight!
