Look, Floyd did SO MUCH in this fight toward "proving" himself, as if he even needs to. He took on the guy everyone wanted him to fight, a big, strong, fast Welterweight, took Mosley's best shot, twice, and came back from adversity, demonstrating the heart of a lion, went back to his gameplan, stuck toe to toe, and the fact of the matter... he outfought Shane Mosley.

:rofl haters... always undermining Floyd's victories, just as I anticipated. Floyd had only ONE fight from a 2 year layoff. Shane's problem was that he can not adjust when he has a boxer in front of him and it has always been the case in his career. Against guys who come forward and do not have tight defense, he knocks their block off. If he had fought berto, berto would be asleep as he does NOT have great defense.

I truly believed Mosley was going to take him out in the 2nd. I am a Floyd hater, but big ups for him tonight. Deserves much props.

For the record, I picked Mayweather to win in 12. As much as I rooted for Shane.

Props for this post - I mentioned this to my son as the fight unfolded following Shanes two looping power shots on Mayweather in the 2nd round. Richardson needs to be careful what he prophecises

i remember this in the 24/7 series but he did not expect shane to do so badly. he might be thinking on the line of shane forcing floyd in a trench war but shane failed him big-time. floyd surpassed expectations, shane weared-out early.

 

what got me was at the end of one of the later rounds when he said "Floyd"s gift is his conditioning" to Shane seeing how tired he was starting to look

SHane mosley the monster is a fairy tale, when he fights a good boxer he gets beat!! Dlh beat him the second time as well, he landed 100 more punches on shane!!

 

nazim expected floyd to run, but he didn't, floyd went into trench warfare and won.. alot of people said it'll be crazy for floyd to go toe to toe, but they're underestimating floyd's ability. this ifght can go on floyd's brawler video on youtube.
