Smith got stopped the first time he faced a top 50 opponent. Now whilst that might not certify him as a glass jawed fighter it certainly doesn't mean he's hardy because he managed to go the distance with Williams.

 

You aren't following this. Many people on here picked Stevens to KO GGG and expose him. I wasn't talking about Jacobs but there were more than several on here that said the same also.

 

Canelo's legal issue with his former promoter still isn't settled so that can't be an excuse.

 

What the judges had was irrelevant to anyone who has eyes. Were the judges in the first Lennox Lewis vs Evander Holyfield fight also right? There is a clear pattern of Canelo getting dubious scorecards regardless if he wins or loses. That is very strange and some questions have to be asked about what exactly is going on? I agree that Canelo beat Trout, Cotto and likely Lara but the scorecards were not indicative of how the fight went. This was discussed in a previous thread in great detail. The Mayweather scorecards were atrocious. It was embarrassing for the sport for a guy who missed punches by 2 feet and hit gloves to be given a Draw in a fight that he might have won 1 or 2 rounds at most. Liam Smith isn't worth discussing he was another handpicked opponent.

First of all he didn't go the distance with Williams, it was a stoppage. And second of all Canelo's stoppage of Smith wasn't due to Smith having a glass jaw. It was very clearly well placed body shots that did him in vs Canelo, not being cracked on the jaw. There's absolutely nothing to indicate that Smith has a glass jaw or even a suspect chin.

 

all the gangstas i have ever met only fight if one of the following applies. they have almost no chance of losing to the opponent. they are armed. they have lots of backup. in any other circumstance they either run, or cause no problems. rockford is one of the most crime ridden, dangerous towns in america.
