Canelo is too static to beat golovkin imo. Unless he hurts golovkin early I can't see how he stops the forward march, golovkin will be able to just walk Canelo down and get to him on the inside

Jacob's pretends to be a gangster from the streets that is what I meant.

    These are Jacob's words

“Even though he’s(Notorious BIG) maybe talking about shooting people or drug dealing, I understand that struggle, because I came from the streets and seeing those things. I never interacted with those things, but it’s always been around me. So when I hear the struggle, it allows me to perform like a gladiator.”

And it done him no good. He ending up getting beaten up and lost to a UD

You can't knock out everyone and it was a step up but he was also entering the second half of his 30s. These are all factors and Golovkin's physical prime will always be a bit of a mystery.

He grew up in Brownsville in the 90s, of course he understands that life. He has no gangster pretensions whatsoever: 'I never interacted with those things'. Danny is about as solid a role model as you can find. If you were from somewhere like he is you'd understand what he's talking about. You must be pretty sheltered.

Could be, but you had fighters who were still competing at an extremely high level at 35 and older, like JMM, Mayweather of course, and a few others like Calzaghe.. I don't think it's fair to say that now that his KO STREAK and aura of invincibility is gone, that we should all attribute that to him being past prime and not being able to perform at his best, when it certainly points to his level of competition in his last two fights.

Canelo should he win should be given full credit for his victory, and we the fans who support him on this forum shouldn't have to deal with all the nonsense that's sure to follow if Canelo beats him in september.

But I won't hold my breath, there's already excuses being thrown around by the guys who were claiming Canelo wont fight him since before he fought Jacobs, AND those are the guys sweating bullets right now.

I'm no saying he's shot or anything but I'd also say that Mayweather, JMM and Calzaghe all looked better physically in their late 20's early 30s.

That's the simple science of aging and I said I didn't buy into the whole big drama show nonsense. He has been in decline for a bit now but still very good and he'll be a great win if Canelo can beat him.

Of course its bigger than 2016. Just look how everybody is talking about this fight. And I'm happy with the 2017 date, I said this in another post.

Canelo maxed his payday. Business strategy comes first in Prize Fighting. It's nothing new in any sport nowadays. Why Lebron doesn't play for league minimum?why not other stars if it's all about winning.

money comes first in modern world for everybody.why we hate somebody else doing it?especially in dangerous sport.where you can die or be permamently injured.

if my work is paid to get punched by world class boxers.i would want max my salary.what happened to Ali?i can't say for the champ.but only think he would liked to have good health. Maybe liked more to remembered as ultimate warrior in boxing ring.

Curtis Stevens told us he was going to beat GGG because he was from Brownsville Brooklyn. It didn't help. He quit in the fight rather than get KOed.

Canelo is going to give GGG that work. It's his time GGG days are numbered and will cash out after this fight. Canelo will look like a sharp shooter in there with GGG. The difference in speed and reflexes will astonish alot of people in this fight.

Dominated??? What fight were you watching? That was not domination he went life in death with a guy no on here rated and people here said he would brutally KO, myself included. Domination is what Canelo did to JCC Jr.

JMM and Mayweather both worked with Memo and were doping. Both ducked VADA. JMM's long term doping resulted in massive amounts of acne on his chest and back. Floyd was caught using illegal IVs.

WTF are yo talking about dummy? He grew up in a rough neighborhood said he never participated in the in crime that surrounded him never claimed to be gangsta yet your dumbass has a problem with what he said? You're truly one of the worst posters here with a crystal clear agenda. Now Jacobs is a POS and a gangsta according to this clown. BTW he didn't get beaten up he gave GGG hell arguably beat him and deserves a rematch.

PBF nor JMM never failed a drug test and neither did Pac if you're going to speculate that JMM and PBF were on PEDS then Pac has to fall into that same speculation as well.
