Absolutely not. If Hopkins was juiced it would have come up in post fight urine test. Believe what had just happen was real not a fluke.
I guess each to his own.I was just wondering out aloud. One thing I will say...for the record....Mosley's heart and balls range up there with the best in the history of this game.Even taking this fight...after the Cotto anhiliation....was very ballsy....but to go on and dish out the worst ass-whooping Antonio Margarito ever dreamed of....to KO him...was just unbelievable. The guy is a class act thru and thru..Did y'all see him putting a belt around Margo's waist after the fight...true class..A tru warrior if there was ever one...even when he is technically outgunned ala Forrest,Cotto etc....he nevr backs down from no-one. This fight reminded me why I love this game so much.
Think about these aging superstars in baseball that took roids, they came back stronger the older they got. The truth is, guys like Hopkins and Mosley shouldn't be getting better/stronger at their age, it just isn't possible to naturally do what they're doing.
If guys are juicing, it's not Nazim's fault. I'm not alleging anything against anyone, but it's not Nazim's responsibility to follow guys around 24 hours a day.
Nah, Hop just didn't train well for Calzaghe. He looked soft and a little pudgy compared to his condition in the subsequent fight with Pavlik. He watched the tapes of JC, recognized he wasn't overly talented, figured he could beat him with a half-ass effort and one arm tied behind his back, and while he was correct about JC's relative talent his own conditioning let him down on that particular night. Naz has been doing a great job and getting the recognition he deserves.Oscar shouldve hired Nazim and maybe he wouldve won a round against Pac.
B-Hop beat an ill Pavlik who is a **** fighter passed 160...but still a masterclass fight. He looked like **** against Calzaghe because for one, Roach was training him...not Nazim. Two...he always does poorly against high octane fighters like JT. Calzaghe was not only high in workrate, but fast and elusive as well. Both fighters make their opponents look like ****. Shane was training under his father and not Nazim...hence his shitty performance. Mayorga is also very unpredictable and was MUCH heavier than Mosley by a mile. Mosley was 160 and Mayorga was 170...1 ****in' 70 :scaredas:... The truth is...Nazim has always been good at breaking down and strategizing against one-dimensional power hitters. Tito Pavlik Margarito All one-dimensional power hitters...
