Shane and Hopkins both had plans (build around their strengths and their opponents' weaknesses) and executed them to perfection. There's no mystery to that.

Nazim Richardson and Vince McMahon share their sources for steroids. I am being sarcastic. When a fighter has a perfect strategy, they are able to look better physically. When I have dominated other boxers, I looked great physically, and when I got beaten up, I looked weaker physically.

No reason to suspect anything here. Margarito is a one dimensional fighter. Mosely did several things Cotto couldn't or wouldn't do: clinch, stay off the ropes, body punch. He just boxed brilliantly and put an absolute paint job on Magarito.

I hear y'all....i just wondered if it was more than coincidence that both fighters..both trained by Nazim...both old horses who looked it in their previous fights...all of a sudden reset the clock on their latest fights.

    Like I said,anything is possible.Either way...what a display by The Sugarman.

gotta disagree with ya hear. nard didnt look any younger fighting pavlik, he just held a stylistic advantage and fought smart. in the pav fight he fought in spurts and still looked old( the footwork slowed noticably after rd 3 or 4) while sloppy joe made him fight the entire fight, and wore him down. hell if u wanna blame someone for roids or gh blame joe cal, hes a 36 yo lw still throwing 1000+ punches at his advanced age.

Shane Mosely has always presented as a tough, durable and strong fighter. Where he has looked less stellar is when his opponent has managed to beat him to or hurt him with the punch whilst avoiding his punches. This fundamentally happened with forrest and to a certain degree with Cotto - who in my opinion Shane under estimated.

I think it's also noticeable that Shane is an all or nothing fighter - by this statement what I allude to is that for the first time in years all of his boxing attributes were primed and alligned for this fight against Margarito.

Props to Shane and his new trainer, who in my humble opinion is definately one of the best in the business.

A focused and primed Mosely will give any fighter a run for his money, unfortunately for margarito as he discovered last night; Shane just couldn't miss and was extremely disciplined and focused. I hope they do a rematch!!! In fact I hope Cotto now accepts a rematch with Shane.
