My guess is that Cotto tried to be the first man to KO Margo...seeing as no one's done it as of late

Cotto was known and I feel takes much pride in stopping people that have never been stopped...once he saw this can't happen, he found himself in a huge mess...

I think next time around he'll change his gameplan drastically to get a wide UD...or maybe I'm wrong :conf

 

What do you consider to be elite? Any fighter can be beat their own game. If the fighter is not multi dimensional, it doesn't mean they aren't elite. It depends on how good they are at what they do and what they do in the ring with it. Margarito may not be the most technically polished boxer out there, but that is not what he specializes in. If he can dismantle, break down an elite fighter, like Miguel Cotto, especially the way that he did, then he is obviously doing something right, and he may have a right to be called an elite right next to the other guy he just beat.

cotto has to stay in the trenches abd not run around for 7 rds trying to box and hope to survive...impressive display here from margo...mora is brutal in this sparring

An elite fighter is one that can win vs any style and can move up in weight and still do well...All the evidence of Margo shows that moving up just 7 pounds would take a huge toll on his ability to win fights. And another thing to think about.......When is the last time that he have seen margo in the ring with a classic boxer??? A mover with a decent jab...If your an elite fighter then you promoter dont have to work so hard at finding the perfect guy to fight, someone that isnt going to move too much or isnt to big and strong. Arum has looked to put Margo in the ring with guys that will be in front of him. this isnt something that is my opinion its fact. And we can all say this and that about who offered what fight but we do know is this, Margo had a chance to replace Judah in the fight with floyd, he had a chance to fight Winky, Golden Boy offered him a fight with Ouma a few years back and Spinks said that he would fight him. None of those fights happened...what fights did happen??? Clottey who will stand right in front of you, Cintron who will stand right in front of you and Cotto who guess what?? Will stand right in front of you...Oh yeah they did break and face Williams a strong fight and he lost.

 

I had Margarito beating Williams, he tried to get Williams back into the ring, but Williams refused huge money to do such. Look at William's face after the fight. Now Margarito is making Williams wait. Margarito said he will fight Williams again, but he wants so big money for a chance. Margarito is a true warrior and deserves to make lots of money.

Farmy is a diffenet kind of dude, he comes up with some off the wall ****.
