plus pac was getting hit with triple jabs by a quick defenseive fghter like margo.

cant wait to see a slow plodder like mayweather landed three straight rights in a row.

I think Manny stops throwing when he starts getting countered, well, maybe its not that he stops throwing, just that he becomes more thoughtful about how to attack, which gives you more time, can cut down his activity imo.

Floyd is a very precise puncher, and as far as single shots go he's faster than Pac.. The problem with this is he only throws one shot at a time and a combination for him consists of a one two..

He's a reactionary fighter, who waits either for you to reset yourself which Pac doesn't need to do, or counter, which would in turn leave him open. As awkward as Pac is, he is always in position to throw. Floyd won't get the kinds of openings he likes unless he's ready to take some leather in exchange..

Now i do think Mayweather has underrated power, the problem is I certainly don't see it being better than Marg or Cottos power.. Which puts Floyd into a war, that he can't win against the best offensive fighter since Duran..

Sure Floyd is a great defensive fighter, but i would say he's on par with Bernard..

so for a measuring stick I'll give you the Hopkins-Taylor fights to chew on... and although you can never compare different fighters and fights, this shows a fast, athletic guy who just won the fight off activity level.. And NO, Pac doesn't need to throw 100 punches a round against Floyd as long as he keeps giving floyd angles and throwing combinations in range...

Floyds a sucker for those hooks too, Pacs specialty..

It could go the way Nazim predicts, but, I doubt it. If they fight, and both guys look as good they have in their last few performances, I think Floyd will figure out Manny's rhythm within the first few rounds, and execute a clinic from then on. But, he will have to fight a perfect fight, and not give Manny opportunities to catch him with shots he doesn't see, which could change the course of the fight. I think Floyd can accomplish this.

What he said here: "You can't beat Pacqiauo if you can't hurt him", actually applies in reverse, in this particular matchup, IMO. If Manny does not hurt Floyd...he will be outboxed.

Manny is a great fighter. But, Mayweather is "far more the gifted fighter" (as Nazim said). And, he knows how to fully utilize those gifts. Floyd has enough advantages in this affair, and he will know how to use each and every one of them, IMO.

His opinion should be respected more than mine but i must disagree.

Mayweather can hit hard..... If he wants to. He just has suffered from brittle hands so only chooses to if and when he needs to break down an oponents morale.

Naz should really speak to shane about Floyds underated power. He hurt shane many times with some really stinging punches.

It was a good sparring session they went about 8 rounds. I would say cunnignham might of won 5 out of those eight with him being the obviously busier fighter. Nazim advised Steve to stay busy and use the jab most of the time..now with Eddie he was obviously the stronger and faster guy when he let his hands go he was little too passive in there I guess cause its just sparring b he looked for openings which he found and when he did let those hands go especially in bunches it was nice to see.... boy fighters looked very good Steve is more in shape though Eddie later admitted that although he's been in the gym he got little tired in the beginning rounds but after the first two he was good which was obvious

Not to mention Floyd's excellent work to the body.

Mayweather has every advantage over Pacquiao except for maybe puncing power.

    Floyd schools Pacquiao...
