Close to the end rounds Nazim threatened Mosley saying "You're taking alot of punishment out there" "Don't make me do something I dont want to do".....I know he was talking about throwing in the towel.

So predictions about Mosley getting stopped were almost spot on just want to give props to those who went with this analysis. Mosley being defeated the way he did made me feel bad for my boy Shane that was career ending.

No, Nazim wasn't stopping that fight. He was just trying to motivate Mosley. Beating wasn't that bad.

If Floyd had been punching in combinations, particularly leading with that lead right, Nazim very well could have wound up needing to save Shane from himself. Steward was spot-on about that.

Bollocks. Shane was getting whooped and Nazim was definitely considering it. Shane is a warrior and would never throw in the towel himself. After round 10 I thought Nazim would pull him out. I remember he asked him to repeat something he said, and Shane repeated it, I think that was his test to see how bad of a state Shane was.

He already once said to his pappy JACK MOSLEY that he cant beat WINKY.

at that was after fourth round.

He wanted to quit in that fight.

Agreed. A schooling? Yes. A beatdown? Nope.

It WAS a beating he was taking. And Rachardson was definatly considering stopping it.
I thought they might have to stop it, and British TV commentators were saying that maybe they ought to stop it. Had they thrown the towel in, id have found that quite reasonable seeing as he was basically getting taken apart

Too many flush whiplash right hands not to call it a beating. Sustained aggression isn't Floyd's style; that's the only reason it didn't "look" like one would expect a more traditional beating to look. Floyd took a little bit of a beating in round two and then dished one out for the next half hour.

Or what Cintron toke in the Margarito fights but yeah I'd have to agree with you that it was a beating. Guess I'm in a bit of a denial because Shane's my fav fighter. Sucks seeing him like that....

That's probably it. Alright y'all thinking about it I can finally consider it a beating.
